mobba.com is a new online marketplace where committed shoppers team up to leverage their combined
purchasing power to get lower prices on goods and services. Sellers compete in an auction-style
format for their business, driving prices down for buyers, while providing a volume sales opportunity
for sellers. Shoppers save. Sellers make a higher volume bulk sale than they may otherwise be able to
secure on their own. And importantly, there’s no risk for sellers to sign up since no costs are incurred
until a sale is made.

Ramu Ramanathan, CEO
An expert in profitably managing and growing information technology development companies,
Ramanathan is a dynamic senior executive with broad experience in solving organizational,
technology and business problems. He offers strong strategic planning, hiring and team building
abilities, along with technical, marketing and sales skills. Ramanathan held senior management
positions at CIBER and National Systems & Research (NSR). He has more than 25 years in the
information technology business and 15 years of senior management experience. Ramanathan has
published more than 25 technical papers. He holds a B.Tech from I.I.T., M.Sc.E from the
University of New Brunswick, and a Ph.D. from Virginia Tech. He is a senior member of IEEE,
a licensed professional engineer and holds a PMP certificate from the Project Management Institute.
Qinsheng Huang, Director of Technology
Huang has more than 12 years of software development experience. As a lead architect for CIBER and National
Systems & Research, he designed and developed several large scale web applications for government
and commercial clients. Huang has utilized waterfall and agile software development methodologies,
object-oriented design, component-based architectures, refactoring, design patterns, N-tiers system
architecture and service oriented architecture in software design and development. Huang holds
bachelors and master’s degrees from Sichuan University, and a masters degree from Portland
State University.
Ed Herinckx, Director of Marketing
Herinckx brings to mobba more than 25 years of experience in marketing and communications services,
having worked on brands such as Tektronix, Planar Systems, Daimler Trucks North America, Milgard
Window and Doors and Louisiana Pacific Corporation. Herinckx has substantial executive management
experience and brings keen marketing insights, solid strategic thinking and high standards to
every marketing engagement. He is a strong believer in utilizing research and customer insights
to develop sales and marketing strategies, and he carries each one through with innovation and
responsible stewardship. Herinckx holds a BA in Communications Management from the University
of Portland.
Michael Fashana, Director of Sales and Strategic Partnerships
Fashana is a high-caliber sales and marketing executive with more than 20 years experience developing
integrated sales and revenue generating opportunities for major market broadcast companies. He is
consistently able to manage through changing situations, while maintaining the ability to think and
plan ahead to achieve long-term objectives. His excellent planning, creative, presentation and
negotiation skills make Fashana especially gifted in needs-based selling to clients and formulating
customized marketing solutions. Fashana holds a BA in Communications from the University of Washington.
